Overview

Nestled along Kamuning Road in Quezon City's bustling Scout Rallos Extension, Goca Tea & Coffee Kamuning stands out as a welcoming coffee shop that artfully blends tea and coffee culture. Its location makes it an ideal pit stop for students and professionals alike, drawn by the cozy yet spacious interior designed to accommodate both small groups and solo visitors seeking a quiet nook.

The menu thoughtfully bridges classic and creative flavors. Their signature coffee varieties, including the popular Macadamia and Hazelnut brews, offer flavorful experiences that showcase expert brewing. Equally notable are the tea selections, particularly the Original Milktea and the indulgent Creampuff series, which combine rich tea bases with pearls and delicate whipped cream, satisfying those with a sweet tooth. Complementing the drinks are savory options such as the Beef Nachos—an unexpected but delicious snack featuring fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and cheese.

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by warm lighting that complements the aromatic blend of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods. The soft background music fosters a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for casual hangouts or focused study sessions. Though the ambiance leans toward bright and open, some visitors suggest subtle adjustments like window treatments to enhance coziness without sacrificing the airy feel.

Goca Tea & Coffee's space offers practicality as well, with ample seating that supports varying group sizes, making it a versatile spot for quick breaks or longer visits. The inclusion of modern touches such as an automatic locking bathroom system—access codes provided discreetly—speaks to their attention to customer convenience.

The staff’s affable nature and attentive service elevate the overall experience, making customers feel genuinely cared for. Stories of thoughtful gestures, like assisting with forgotten items, underscore a commitment beyond just serving coffee. While the absence of Wi-Fi might not fit every visitor’s needs, it encourages patrons to stay present and enjoy their environment.

All in all, Goca Tea & Coffee Kamuning is a rare find in Metro Manila’s coffee scene—a place where quality drinks meet a warm, inviting setting. Whether you’re after a well-crafted macchiato, a refreshing tea-based treat, or a comfortable spot to unwind, this cafe offers a quiet refuge that suits a diverse crowd, from students to casual coffee lovers.

Love the frappes, and sandwiches. I accidentally left my Aquaflask there once, and the owner was incredibly kind about it—got in touch with me to return it. It’s just that kind of place where you feel well taken care of. Perfect for hanging out with friends or getting some studying done. The comfy seating and warm lighting create a cozy atmosphere, and the soft background music keeps things relaxed without being distracting. The smell of fresh coffee and pastries adds to the inviting feel. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home, and the menu has all the right choices for a long stay—whether you’re catching up over coffee or hitting the books. It’s just a really nice spot to chill and get stuff done.

Bought a coffee an hour before lunch. I ordered their bestseller which is Signature coffee for 190 pesos. A bit expensive, but considering the location it’s understandable. The downside is they dont have a wifi. I guess their target market are students around the area, considering they also have milktea. The staff took my order in the counter, but she need to memorize the recipe for their coffee if ever customer asks what is in a specific coffee.

The concept of the place is great. Combining a great variety of both tea and coffee options would satisfy a great deal of customer. I ordered their signature Macadamia Coffee and it tastes great. The layout feels spacious and inviting. However, I find that the atmosphere is a bit too bright and exposed. Maybe they could get some blinds to make it more cozy and comfortable to stay in.

Highly recommend this cafe! The hazelnut brew was flavorful and the ambience of the cafe was welcoming to newcomers and regulars. The staff in particular showed great professionalism and hospitality during our visit. There’s a large variety of beverages and pastries to choose from as well. Definitely a gem in Kamuning! Would recommend visiting in the afternoon or evening, but the cafe provides plenty of seating.
